The barricades are halfway between the houses and the streets, between the full and the empty, between the architecture and the assemblages. They are ephemeral constructions, made with different and surprising materials. They rise towards the sky to seek freedom, they cannot tolerate rules, indeed they change the aesthetic rules by assembling very rich materials with dreamlike details of memories already experienced: swallows, leaves, landscapes, a motionless donkey. The works and drawings deepen the research on precarious but immobile balance.
