Thanks to the sophisticated skill of two extraordinary Japanese artisans (Shuji Nakagawa for wood and Risogama for ceramics), a box was created to store the precious memories
of life.
“Hope” is a wooden container from Japanese Cedar, completely closed by a lid with an irregular processing, from which a very thin ceramic vase emerges timidly, in two versions: all white or with a blue exterior.
The vase has a water straw that allows it to host a flower, profoundly modifying the appearance and the final proportion of the box.
“Hope” expresses the wish that flowers can also be born in the desert and withstand the passing of time.
